Pengaruh Tingkat Keramahan Lingkungan Perumahan Bagi Pejalan Kaki Terhadap Aktivitas Fisik Dan Kesehatan Masyarakat Kasus: Perumahan Margahayu Raya, Bandung

Abstract


Banyak penelitian menunjukkan hubungan antara penggunaan lahan campuran, kepadatan, fasilitas, dan jaringan jalan pada lingkungan perumahan dengan perilaku aktivitas fisik seperti berjalan dan bersepeda penghuninya. Di Indonesia, studi hubungan lingkungan yang ramah pejalan kaki dengan perilaku aktivitas fisik dan kesehatan masyarakat sangat terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini penting mengingat tingginya angka kematian akibat penyakit tidak menular yang salah satu penyebabnya adalah karena kurangnya aktivitas fisik. Aktivitas yang memadai dan teratur setidaknya 150 menit per minggu dapat mengurangi faktor risiko kelebihan berat badan dan obesitas, hipertensi dan peningkatan gula darah dan lipid darah yang memicu penyakit jantung, stroke, diabetes, dan kanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara karakteristik pola perilaku aktivitas fisik dan kesehatan masyarakat berdasarkan tingkat keramahan lingkungan bagi pejalan kaki di Perumahan Margahayu Raya Bandung. Penelitian ini bersifat eksploratif dengan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan pada dua karakter lingkungan yang berbeda, yaitu di lingkungan perumahan yang cenderung lebih ramah pejalan kaki dan lingkungan yang kurang ramah pejalan kaki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan signifikan perilaku aktivitas fisik dari dua karakter lingkungan perumahan tersebut. Analisis hubungan antara lingkungan dan kesehatan dengan perilaku aktivitas fisik sangat lemah, tetapi memiliki hubungan positif antara perilaku bersepeda dengan lingkungan dan perilaku kesehatan dan olahraga dengan lingkungan.
