Citation and Reference Formatting:
Only manuscripts that use Mendeley for citation management will be accepted. All references must be recent, with a publication date no older than the past five years, except for handbooks or standard references that have no revised editions available.

In-text citations should follow the APA Style, using the author–date format. This includes the last name of the author(s) followed by the year of publication in parentheses. The rules are as follows:

  • For a single author, cite using the last name and year (e.g., Smith, 2020).

  • For two authors, list both last names separated by an ampersand (&) within parentheses, or "and" when used in the narrative (e.g., (Smith & Johnson, 2021) or Smith and Johnson (2021)).

  • For three or more authors, use the first author’s last name followed by "et al." and the year (e.g., Smith et al., 2022).

Sources can be cited directly in the text using parentheses ( ). When multiple sources are cited together, they should be ordered alphabetically by the first author’s last name, and then chronologically by year of publication, separated by semicolons.

Example:
“...as stated in previous studies (Allan, 1995; Allan, 1996a, 1996b, 1999; Allan & Jones, 1997). Kramer et al., (2000) have noted that...”

The reference list must include a minimum of 10 sources, of which at least 80% must be primary sources, such as peer-reviewed journal articles or published scholarly works from national or international publications. This ensures the academic rigor and credibility of the manuscript.

References in the reference list must be arranged based on the author's last name, followed by the year of publication (author–date format). For works with two or more authors, all authors should be listed. The first author's name should be written with the last name first, followed by the first name. The second and subsequent authors should be written in their original name order (first name followed by last name).
