This weakness will be overcome by compiling a mathematical equation that states the relationship between reflective value (Rn) and compressive strength (f'c). This research aims to modify the graph and determine a formulation that expresses the Rn-f'c correlation. The study was carried out using regression analysis based on the Rn-f'c correlation on the graphs available on the tool body and in the manual and re-simulating using Rn = 2 to 60. The simulation data was re-analyzed to determine corrections to the regression equation and modifications to the original graph. This research concludes that in testing using the N-Type Original Hammer test the compressive strength can be determined using the 2nd degree polynomial regression equation, namely: The equivalent compressive strength of a cube specimen in horizontal, downward and upward directions respectively using the formulation f'ccu = 0.0113Rn2+ 0.8569Rn<strong>-</strong>12.615; f'ccu = 0.011Rn2+0.8845Rn<strong>-</strong>8.1916; f'ccu = 0.0156Rn2+0.5544Rn<strong>-</strong>14.081, while for cylindrical specimens respectively f'cci = 0.0077Rn2+ 0.8557Rn<strong>-</strong>7.9264; f'cci = 0.0074Rn2+0.8875Rn<strong>-</strong>12.663; f'cci = 0.0083Rn2+0.877Rn<strong>-</strong>19.679, with f’c in MPa and Rn = hammer rebound number.</em></p>2025-05-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Permukiman//jurnalpermukiman.pu.go.id/index.php/JP/article/view/624Structure Performance Evaluation of the Design of a Hospital Building Using the Pushover Method2025-01-22T13:28:14+07:00Seto Ditosurya Arantasetodito@mail.ugm.ac.idInggar Sephia Irawatiinggar_septhia@ugm.ac.id<p><em>The structural design of a 10-story inpatient hospital building in Magelang has been completed using the dynamic linear analysis method. Considering that Indonesia is an earthquake-prone country, it is essential to evaluate the structural performance of the design results. This evaluation aims to determine whether the target performance of Immediate Occupancy and Life Safety has been achieved for seismic levels BSE-1N and BSE-2N, respectively. Performance evaluation was then performed using static nonlinear methods based on ASCE 41-17, referred for the draft of the Indonesia Standard Code for Seismic Evaluation and Retrofit of Existing Buildings. Structural geometry modeling uses results from the previous design steps. Then, the modeling is assigned material nonlinear parameters, cross-sectional nonlinearity, and element nonlinearity. The direction of the pushover lateral load in this analysis is divided into 4 directions, i.e., positive X, negative X, positive Y, and negative Y. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the structural performance does not meet the requirements of ASCE 41-17 at both BSE-1N and BSE-2N seismic levels. Based on the results of checking the requirement ratio of the elastic strength demand to yield strength toward the maximum strength ratio, it is recommended that the analysis be continued using the dynamic nonlinear method.</em></p>2025-05-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Permukiman//jurnalpermukiman.pu.go.id/index.php/JP/article/view/601Climate Change Adaptive Residential Design in The Coastal City of Pekalongan2025-02-24T11:21:21+07:00Suzanna Ratih Sariratihsaris@yahoo.comFadhil Muhammadfadheel.muhammad@gmail.comMuhammad Fariz Hilmy farizhilmym@gmail.comDjoko Indrosaptonoindrosaptono@yahoo.com<p class="7IsiAbstrak"><em><span lang="EN-US">Pekalongan is a city on the north coast of Java Island that is worst affected by climate disasters such as floods and tidal inundation due to global climate change. Residential areas in the Pekalongan City Coastal Area, especially in Jeruksari Village, are experiencing changes in response to this disaster. The aim of this research is to find adaptive design aspects of buildings in the coastal area of Pekalongan city. Adaptive design solutions are obtained based on conditions and refer to the experience of other cities that have had a similar impact. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive research method to explain the phenomenon of adaptation in residential buildings in the Coastal Area of Pekalongan City. The data collection method was carried out by direct observation in the field and interviews with building owners. The research results show that buildings, especially residential buildings in the coastal area of Pekalongan city, are experiencing changes due to the adaptation process to climate change which causes sea levels to rise, including raising the floor level and using materials that are easy to dismantle and assemble. The results of this research can also serve as architectural design guidelines for the development of floating houses and to assess the hypotheses made regarding floating structures.</span></em></p>2025-05-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Permukiman//jurnalpermukiman.pu.go.id/index.php/JP/article/view/557Post Disaster Recovery Strategy by Residents Through Housing Adjustment at RISHA Settlement Cianjur2025-01-13T13:50:26+07:00Desti Hidayatidestiayusetia96@gmail.comJoko Adiantojoko.adianto@ui.ac.id<p><em>Natural disasters in Indonesia are increasing due to climate change and impacts on the loss of housing and livelihood for the victims. For future disaster risk reduction, the Governments used RISHA housing technology for resettlement. Lack of consideration of post-disaster livelihood in the resettlement programs has resulted in the emergence of the housing adjustment phenomenon. Initial surveys showed that adjustments were done using materials other than RISHA components, though there were prohibitions to make physical changes to housing. Evaluation of resident’s satisfaction with RISHA housing in Indonesia has not been carried out empirically, so it might fail to see the real needs of the community. This study aims to assess the level of satisfaction with RISHA housing and identify their housing adjustment as strategies for improving livelihood. A questionnaire survey of 232 respondents resulted in a satisfaction level of 69.70%(moderate), while through observation and in-depth interviews, it concluded that housing adjustment is a strategy to overcome the housing deficit and rebuild livelihood. These findings provide input for post-disaster housing policies, where adjustments to RISHA housing should not be seen as negative things, but instead require assistance and support from the government as efforts to restore the community's livelihood after resettlement.</em></p>2025-05-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Permukiman//jurnalpermukiman.pu.go.id/index.php/JP/article/view/595District Clustering in Subang Regency: A Strategy for Developing Buffer Village of Rebana Metropolitan, West Java2025-04-17T07:59:35+07:00Musthafa Halimmusthafahalim88@gmail.com<p class="7IsiAbstrak"><em><span lang="EN-US">Subang Regency needs to develop its regional potential, which is predominantly rural, to strengthen its position as a supporting area for the Rebana Metropolitan Region. This study aims to cluster the districts in Subang Regency based on the potential of each village, allowing for the formulation of development strategies to elevate their status to Desa Mandiri. This research employs mixed-method approach (quantitative and qualitative), with the population consisting of all districts in Subang Regency, encompassing multiple villages. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling, utilizing secondary data from BPS Kabupaten Subang and field observations. The study applies hierarchical clustering analysis using Ward’s method and single linkage. The findings indicate that the districts in Subang Regency can be categorized into four clusters based on the criteria of the Village Development Index (IDM) and factors such as demographics, geography, and the availability of public infrastructure and facilities. The first cluster serves as a role model, focusing on participatory development planning. The second cluster emphasizes the development of tourism infrastructure and related institutions. Third cluster prioritizes vocational-based human resource development to optimize local potential. Meanwhile, fourth cluster requires greater attention in providing basic physical infrastructure and optimizing village-owned enterprises (BUMDes).</span></em></p>2025-05-15T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Permukiman
